Hawthorn and Motherwort Elixir

from $15.00

Our signature formula, this heart-soothing elixir is like a gentle hug when you need it most.* It’s a wonderful plant potion for seasonal affective disorder, stress, heartache, or grief, and you can also enjoy it as a daily tonic to help open a guarded heart.*

A true labor of labor, this sweet-tasting blend takes a full year to craft. We start in April by gathering fresh, wild hawthorn flowers and covering them in brandy and raw honey. In June, we sprinkle in wildcrafted rose petals, in July, we mix in our homegrown motherwort, in August we add vibrant, foraged hawthorn berries, and in September we return to our beloved wild rose patch to ethically harvest rose hips.

We then cover the elixir and let it infuse until the following spring so that the brandy and honey can work their magic extracting the plants’ properties.

We put our whole heart into making this Hawthorn and Motherwort Elixir, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Directions

Take 1-3 dropperfuls up to 3x/day or as needed, especially when you feel occasional stress or grief creeping in.*

This sweet elixir tastes delicious enough to squirt directly in your mouth, but you can also stir it into water, juice, or tea. If you’re feeling frazzled, consider pairing it with our Calm Those Nerves Tea.

Ingredients

Hawthorn flowers and berries (Crataegus monogyna)^, roses petals and rose hips (Rosa gymnocarpa)^, motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca)**, raw honey, brandy

(Organic*, homegrown**, wildcrafted^)
